  • Crew sourced as close as possible to reduce travel costs
Your yacht must be fully prepared before handover:
  • Engine serviced, electrical and navigation systems functional
  • Sails, rigging, and running rigging checked
  • Complete safety pack, in-date and onboard (EPIRB, liferaft, fire extinguishers, flares)

Delivery Captain can assist with preparation if needed by joining the vessel ahead of departure.
All documentation must be onboard and available:
  • Ownership and VAT papers
  • Engine books and manuals
  • MMSI, call sign, and registration details
Standard onboard equipment must include:
• Autopilot, plotter & charts, VHF, AIS, radar, EPIRB
For all offshore and ocean deliveries, a fully operational communication system is mandatory.
Starlink – Preferred option for primary satellite communication. Provides continuous connectivity for weather routing, position tracking, and coordination with shore support.
Iridium Go – Accepted as an alternative or backup to Starlink, offering global coverage for messaging, email, and emergency contact when internet connectivity is limited.
Garmin InReach – Always carried by Delivery Captain crews as part of our standard safety equipment for tracking and two-way communication.
All systems must be active and tested prior to departure to ensure uninterrupted communication throughout the passage.
By maritime law, the vessel owner remains responsible during delivery:
  • Always notify your insurer of the delivery dates and route
